The Army Cadet College, also known as the Military Academy, is a well-known institute that trains candidates for positions in the Defence forces. Home to a large number of Army, Navy, and Airmen cadets, ACC, also known as Siachen Battalion, is tasked with shaping the careers of cadets, thereby making them Officers physically and mentally. The IMA's teachers & instructors are determined to instill in their students’ leadership qualities, a dynamic personality, a personality full of confidence & valour, as well as a heart full of pride & patriotism
In terms of structure, the Army Cadet College ranks fifth among all Battalions of the Indian Military Academy (IMA). It has three Companies, which are further subdivided into three platoons. While the ACC (Army Cadet College) as a whole is led & supervised by a Brigadier, the academic department is led and supervised by a principal. Furthermore, it is divided into two departments, Humanities & Science Streams, with a Professor or Associate Professor in each.

Eligibility Criteria for the ACC Exam 2022
The eligibility criteria for ACC Entry 2022 are an important factor to consider before applying for the job. Only candidates who meet all of the ACC eligibility criteria 2022 will be eligible to participate in the recruitment process. - Gender: Male or Female
- Marital Status: Single or Married
- Age Requirement: The age requirement for taking the ACC exam is listed below.
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 27 Years
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed or passed the Intermediate Examination from a recognized board, i.e., 10+2 Passed or equivalent (in any stream). Furthermore, candidates must have passed the ACC written exam.
- Applicants must have completed at least two years of service.
- Candidates will only have three chances to apply for the Army Cadet College.
