UKPSC PCS Eligibility Criteria 2022: Age Limit, Educational Qualification

As per the latest update,  Uttarakhand PSC will provide one year of age relaxation to candidates for various posts. Details about the post and age relaxation will be released soon. Candidates who wish to make use of the relaxation will be able to fill in the UKPSC application form 2022 again. It is advisable to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the UKPSC PCS exam. The various eligibility criteria prescribed by the commission are discussed here. The candidature of a candidate will be cancelled if he/she fails to provide the supporting documents for the eligibility criteria. If you fulfil the UKPSC exam eligibility, fill the UKPSC Online Application Form 2022 before the last date i.e 02 February 2022.

• The candidate should be a citizen of India
• Tibetan refugees coming to Indian with an intention to permanently settle here before 1962 can also apply. Such candidates need to have a relevant certificate issued from the concerned authorities.
• The candidates migrating to Indian with an intention to permanently settle here from the countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania are also eligible. However, they need to have a certificate of eligibility from the state government

Candidates who want to take the UKPSC PCS 2022 exam must fall within the age limit prescribed by the commission. The commission has set the age limit as 21 to 35 years for the General category. Age relaxation is applicable for different categories.

The minimum education qualification for the  UKPSC 2022 exam is a graduation degree. There are many different posts that require different qualifications which are explained below:

• The minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university.
• Candidates must have a post-graduation diploma in Town and architect planning or associate membership of the institute of planner / American institute of town/ institute of town planner or institute of town planner India for the post of Sahayak Nagar Niyojak.
• Candidates with graduation in Hindi are eligible for the District information officer / Feature writer.
