The Symbiosis International (Deemed) University in Pune, which conducts the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), has released an online list of SNAP 2022 exam centres. Each year, approximately 1 lakh students from a variety of fields, including engineering, commerce, humanities, and even law, take the SNAP Test to be considered for one of the 2,500 MBA seats available at Symbiosis colleges. 

Candidates could choose up to three cities in which to take the SNAP 2022 exam in order of selection. The SNAP test centre will be assigned by the examination authorities to one of the three cities listed on the application form.

How to Select SNAP Exam Centre?

Candidates have only one chance to choose their chosen city for SNAP exam centre allocation. How to choose your favoured SNAP test city in the application form is as follows: 

  • On the official website, you can register for SNAP 2022. 
  • Log in to complete the SNAP application form after your login ID has been set. 
  • Go to the part that says "Test City."  
  • From the drop-down menu, choose three cities. 
  • Choose test cities in order of preference, starting with the first and ending with the third. 
  • Fill out the rest of the form, pay the fee, and submit it.

Documents to Carry to SNAP Exam Centre

To the exam centres, candidates must bring their SNAP admit card as well as a valid identity card. Without the hall ticket, no candidate will be allowed to access the SNAP exam centre. To the SNAP exam centres, candidates can bring any of the identification cards such as a 

  • Voter id card
  • Passport
  • PAN card
  • Aadhar card
  • Driving license

Due to the pandemic, candidates must also carry a bottle of sanitiser and wear a face mask. 

Dos and Don’ts at SNAP Exam Centre

  • Download a colour copy of the SNAP admit card on A4 paper before going to the examination centre. A black/blue basic ball pen is also useful for writing.
  • Arrive at the SNAP exam centre two hours ahead of the scheduled reporting time.
  • Stay safe from COVID-19 infection by wearing a face mask and carrying a hand sanitiser in a clear bottle.
  • If a candidate's name has been changed, they should bring proof of the change, such as a marriage certificate, divorce decree, or legal name change.
  • Take a seat at your assigned computer once you've entered the exam hall. Report any problems with your computer to the examiner right away.
  • Keep a safe distance from others.
  • Do not go to the SNAP exam center if you have a fever or any other COVID-19-related symptoms.
  • Electronic devices such as cell phones, watches, calculators, smart devices of any type are not allowed.
  • Students should not insist on being permitted to bring their parents or guardians into the exam room.
  • Students must not attempt to switch computers.
  • Students should not attempt to take a sheet handed to them for rough work with them. The invigilator must be given the rough sheets back.
  • Students will not be given any additional time (only PwD candidates will be given an additional 40 minutes), thus they should not waste it.

SNAP Exam Centre Reporting Time

The duration of the SNAP exam is of 60 minutes. The SNAP exam time 2022 might vary, however usually the SNAP reporting time is 1-2 hours before the exam time. The official SNAP exam centre timing is mentioned on the admit card.

SNAP Exam Centre FAQs

  • No, You can not change the exam centre once a student has already paid the registration fees.

  • SNAP Exam is held in 94 cities across the country. Various SNAP exam centres are allotted in the city. 

  • Download the SNAP admit card and check the allotted SNAP exam centre on the hall ticket. All the details about the test centre is mentioned in the hall ticket 

  • The complete list of SNAP test centres within the city is not published. Candidates who opt for SNAP exam centres in Mumbai can check the admit card for the details. 

  • In the application form, an applicant can choose up to three cities for the SNAP test centre. The exam administrators will assign the exam centre to the first city on the list. In the event that seats are not available in the first desired location, the centre will be assigned to the second preference city.

  • The reporting time for the SNAP exam centre will be printed on the admit card. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing is maintained at the centre, and the identification procedure takes longer as a result. Candidates must arrive at their individual SNAP exam centres early.
