Maharashtra Judiciary Exam 2022 Selection Process

The MPSC has specified a three-stage selection process to recruit the Maharashtra Jucidiary posts. The Maharashtra Civil Judge Exam 2022 consists of the following stages:

  1. Prelims Exam 
  2. Mains Exam 
  3. Interview
  • The Maharashtra judiciary prelims examination is conducted for 100 marks, while the main examination is conducted for 200.
  • After qualifying for the Maharashtra Judiciary Prelims & Mains exam, eligible candidates are called for the Interview test of 50 marks.
  • The final selection is based on the combined marks of the Maharashtra Judiciary mains & Interview test. 
  • The Maharashtra Judiciary pre-examination will be conducted for the purpose of limiting the number of candidates for the main examination.
  • According to the cutoff marks, approximately ten times the total number of candidates will be considered eligible for the main examination.
  • As the Maharashtra Judiciary pre-examination is a screening examination, the marks of the pre-examination will not be considered for final selection. Also, they will not be communicated to the candidates.

The Maharashtra Judiciary 2022 Prelims Exam consists of 100 objective types (MCQs) questions for 100 marks. The examination is conducted in the English language only. As per the Maharashtra Judiciary Exam Pattern 2022, the exam contains a single section on legislative law. There is a negative marking system of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
