Revisit the topics with factual data:

• This advice can be very useful for Paper I of the CAPF (AC) exam.
• Try to revise current affairs related to National, International, and Economic Affairs, all Defense-related major happenings, Military Exercises, Recent Awards, and Sports Events, National Parks, Dams, Rivers & Tributaries, Deserts, International Organisation, etc

Convert your notes to mind maps:

• In topics and subjects, the data can be arranged in the form of timelines, flowcharts, and diagrams. Topics like historical events, biological classifications, and geographical categorization are best retained when remembered in the form of a series of events or facts; ‘this leads to that, and that leads to it’.
• Creating mind maps seems like a tedious exercise in the beginning but once correctly executed, these mind maps will act as your best friends in the examination hall.

Avoid reading new topics:

Reading a new topic takes a lot of energy and time than the usual topics and you can not afford to stress the examination. Avoid reading new topics instead, concentrate on revising whatever you have read during the past few months.

Stay focused and positive:

• You have been preparing for the exam and obviously, have put in a lot of effort to clear the exam.
• It is time to capitalize on these efforts and feel confident about them. So, do not think about the results of the examination.

Be careful with the choice of questions:

• Choose the questions in the actual examination to attempt wisely and smartly because this choice can make or break your chance of success.
• By attempting mocks you must know your strengths in each section and use them wisely. Also, through mock tests identify your weaknesses and avoid doing mistakes during the exam.
• Avoid wasting much time on a single question during the exam. If you are facing a problem in solving some questions within a stipulated time, don't waste your time and move to further questions.

Be ready for surprises and stay calm:

• Do not lose your calm if you see the type of questions that are not covered by you in the exam.
• if any question is taking too much time, don't take it as a challenge and move on to the next question.

Proper diet and proper sleep:

• Keep yourself fit and healthy by exercise and taking a proper diet a few days before the exam.
• Take proper sleep before the exam. Candidates mostly avoid these things to save time for study. To perform better in the exam, you need an attentive mind.

Believe in yourself: 

• Do not get demotivated by anything around you. Focus on self-study instead of studying in a group.
• Stick to your strategy and revise your notes.
• Don't pay attention to the level of preparation for others. Just give your best and forget the rest.

Check the travel itinerary in Advance:

• If your exam center for CAPF AC requires you to travel, then please make sure to get your travel arrangements done well before the examination. Also, try to get some idea about how to reach the exam center, i.e. the conveyance modes.
• This will help you to save unnecessary trouble in the final hours before the examination and you’ll be able to take the exam with calmness.
