AFCAT Exam Centres 2023

AFCAT exam centres have been announced in the official notification released by the IAF. The exam will be conducted in more than 100 cities in the country. Candidates get the option of choosing their preferred exam locations while filling out the application form. Those who are appearing for the upcoming AFCAT 1 Exam 2023, which is scheduled for 24, 25, and 26 February 2023, will get the confirmation of their exam location on their respective admit cards.

AFCAT Exam Centres: List of Items Allowed Inside

Candidates appearing for the exam are supposed to carry certain items to the AFCAT exam centre. Documents like AFCAT Admit Card are essential to carry to the exam hall. Candidates would not be allowed to enter the hall without such documents. Find out the list of items to carry below:

  1. Admit Card. 
  2. Aadhaar Card.
  3. Two passport-size colour photographs- same as the photo uploaded during the online application (to be pasted, not stapled on Admit Card next to the printed photo and on the attendance sheet at the exam centre).
  4. Ballpoint Pen (Blue or Black).
  5. HB pencil.

AFCAT Exam Centres: List of Prohibited Items

There are some items that the candidate must not carry to the AFCAT exam centre. Candidates are not allowed to carry any textual material, calculators, documents, slide rulers, log tables, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, mobile phones, blue tooth, pager, or any other digital device. Any candidate who is found possessing such an item inside the examination hall may be disqualified.

  • No, the candidate can not change the allotted AFCAT exam centres. Therefore, candidates must exercise caution while filling out their location preferences for the exam. Candidates must always choose the location which is the most convenient for them.

  • Candidates can only select 5 AFCAT exam centres. They will be allocated one of their preferred exam locations. Therefore, candidates must only choose the best locations as their preference. Candidates can only select their preferred exam locations at the time of application submission.

  • There are over a hundred total exam locations, including Agartala, Gurugram, Mysore, Ambala, Guwahati, Nagpur, Ajmer, Gwalior, Nasik, Ghaziabad, Muzzafarpur, Vijayawada, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Mumbai, and many more. A detailed list of all AFCAT exam centres is given here.

  • There are more than a hundred AFCAT exam centres across India from where the candidates can sit for the paper. While filling out the application form, candidates are required to select up to 5 exam locations of their preference and are allotted one from them.

  • Mobile phones are not allowed inside the AFCAT exam centres. Candidates have to submit their mobile phones to the invigilator before the examination. It is also to be noted that no exceptions whatsoever will be granted to any candidate and no responsibility will be taken regarding the safety of the candidate’s belongings.

  • The details regarding the AFCAT exam centres are disclosed to the candidates on their admit cards. The complete location of the exam hall is printed on the admit card itself. Candidates must make sure that they choose the best possible locations for their examination.

  • Taking any kind of digital device is not permitted inside the AFCAT exam centres. In case any candidate is found to have any prohibited item inside the examination hall, they will immediately be disqualified from the examination. Therefore, candidates must not carry any calculators.
