The Bihar Police SI has different stages of examination, i.e., two written exams- BPSSC Prelims and BPSSC Mains exam. The written exam, which objective is followed by the Physical Exam and the Medical Exam. Ancient India, Medieval India and Modern India. One needs to focus more on Modern India, but Bihar specific GK questions emphasize ancient India as well.

• Generally, current based Qs are asked as per the recent trends as compared to the static portion, yet one must be thorough with various five-year plans and various models and their objectives.

• Major Banks and their reforms
• Important schemes both in the news as well as operational ones
• It is advisable that you cover the last one-year’s current affairs.

• This paper can be prepared well by assessing the key areas frequently asked and covering them effectively from any of the General Hindi book covering basic grammar etc. The frequently recommended book is ‘सामान्य हिंदी’ by Lucent.
• Note: Do not underestimate the Hindi paper; if not qualified, then General Studies Paper will not be checked, and chances of disqualification are high.

• After every topic coverage, do appear for sectional tests for comprehensive coverage and understanding.
• Keep your resources minimum and revise thoroughly. You can follow scientific revision techniques.
• Keep your schedule flexible yet realistic. Break the syllabus into small chunks and cover them step by step. Follow a macro-study planner without losing sight of micro-tasks.
