UPPSC Exam Pattern 2022
UPPSC Exam Pattern 2022 is notified by the exam conducting body which is the West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL) along with the notification. UPPSC exam pattern is notified for UPPSC PCS posts so that the candidates can plan their strategy to qualify the exam. UPPSC exam consists of three stages as mentioned below and is modelled on UPSC exam pattern:
- Prelims Exam - 2 papers (objective type)
- Mains Exam - 8 papers (essay/ descriptive type)
- Interview
UPPSC Preliminary Exam 2022 shall be conducted on 23rd March 2022, and UPPSC Mains Exam 2022 shall be conducted on 27th September 2022 as per the UPPSC Calendar 2022. UPPSC Main Exam Pattern
UPPSC Mains exam is the 2nd stage of the UPPSC PCS selection process. Candidates who will qualify the Prelims exam shall be called to appear for the UPPSC Mains exam which is the most important exam. There shall be 8 papers as per the UPPSC Mains exam pattern.
- The nature of the UPPSC Main exam is Subjective Type.
- There shall be a Hindi paper and an essay writing paper.
- There shall be 2 optional papers for UPPSC PCS mains exam while there shall be 4 GS papers.

UPPSC Interview
After the completion of the UPPSC PCS Prelims and Mains exam, the Commission shall call the selected candidates to appear for the UPPSC Interview/Personality Test. The candidates' analytical abilities will be tested in this phase. Apart from this, the candidates' general awareness, character, expression power/personality, intelligence and general suitability will also be tested. Candidates who do not appear for the UPPSC Interview shall be rejected from the merit list.
- The UPPSC Interview will consist of 100 Marks.
After completion of all phases, the final merit list will be released by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in UPPSC PCS Mains and Interview.
