UPPSC PCS Eligibility 2023

UPPSC PCS Eligibility 2023 is released and set by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). The UPPSC Eligibility Criteria is released along with the official notification. UPPSC will conduct the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination for various vacancies, including vacancies for forest services.   • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years

UPPSC Age Relaxation

UPPSC has provided age relaxation for various categories, which are given below:

UPPSC has given certain prerequisites to claim the benefit of age relaxation or reservation, as given below:

  • Candidate must have a Domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
  • A candidate claiming a seat reservation must produce the category certificate from the competent authority.
  • For women candidates, the caste/domicile certificate issued from the father’s side shall be considered valid.
  • Candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation in multiple categories for the UPPSC PCS Exam shall be entitled to only one concession, whichever is more beneficial.

UPPSC PCS  Number of Attempts

No criterion is related to the number of attempts given in the official notification for the UPPSC PCS exam. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criterion can apply for the exam without worrying about the number of attempts.

UPPSC PCS Educational Qualification

As per the official notification, educational qualifications for the UPPSC PCS Combined state and Upper subordinate services exam is a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification upto the last date for receipt of application from any recognized University. Commission has further given qualification criteria for various posts.

Minimum Physical Measurements required for various UPPSC posts like:

  • Deputy Superintendent of Police (D.S.P)

Commission has given separate Minimum physical requirements for them, which are as given below:

However, For the post of RFO, Commission has given some relaxation in height for the candidates belonging to ST and to races such as Gorkhas, Nepalis, Kumaonis, and Gardhwalis. The relaxation in Height as:

UPPSC Eligibility FAQs

  • To participate in the UPPSC PCS recruitment, candidates must fulfil UPPSC PCS eligibility norms based on age limit and education qualification. The minimum qualification is a graduation degree from a recognized university.

  • The age limit to apply for UPPSC PCS 2022 exam is 21 to 40 years. Age relaxation for the candidates is also applicable to the exam as per the government norms.

  • Interested candidates must graduate to apply for UPPSC PCS recruitment 2023. Candidates with a higher degree are also eligible for the exam.

  • There is no limit on the number of attempts in the UPPSC PCS exam. Candidates can appear for the exam till they are overage.
