UPPSC Admit Card 2022 for Mains has ben released on 19 September on UPPSC website. The UPPSC Mains exam shall be held in two shifts for the exam which is scheduled from 27 September to 1 October. The first shift is from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM while the second shift is from 2 PM to 5 PM. This year, a total of 5964 candidates have qualified the Prelims exam through which 384 vacancies will be filled in.

It must be noted by the candidates that they carry the hard copy of the admit card to the exam hall. Digital admit cards will not be accepted by the Commission. UPPSC Mains Admit Card 2022 has been officially released on its website for the UPPSC Provincial Civil Service (PCS) exam on 19 September. The UPPSC 2022 exam for Mains is to be held from 27 September to 1 October 2022. The exam will be held in three districts of Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad in two shifts on all days. Things to Carry for UPPSC PCS Exam 2022

All the candidates appearing for UPPSC PCS exam should ensure that they carry the following items to the exam hall. Without the given items no candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam.

  1. Print out of the UPPSC PCS Admit Card.
  2. The candidates whose photo and signature is not printed or is unclear are required to carry two passport size photographs.
  3. Valid Photo ID (One out of- Aadhar Card, Driver’s License, Voter ID Card, Passport) along with a photocopy of the same should be brought.

Other Mandatory Items for UPPSC Exam 2022

In addition to the above-mentioned items, the candidate shall also carry the following items to the exam hall.

  • All the candidates must wear face masks or face covers to get admission into the examination hall. A personal hand sanitizer is mandatory by the commission.
  • A transparent water bottle shall be allowed in the examination hall.
  • Candidates must follow the norms of ‘personal hygiene as well as ‘social distancing’ inside the exam hall and at the premises of the exam. They must follow any further instructions given at the center by Authorities for the safe and smooth conductance of the exam.

UPPSC PCS Admit Card 2022 - Stages of UPPSC Admit Card Release

UPPSC admit card 2022 is released in three stages since the candidates are appointed through a three-stage process. It is mandatory to qualify each stage of the exam by obtaining the UPPSC cutoff.

Every candidate who has successfully applied for the UPPSC PCS exam is entitled to appear for the Prelims exam. This stage is an objective exam having two papers, General Studies, and CSAT.

UPPSC PCS Admit Card - Main Exam

The second time when UPPSC will release the PCS admit card is for the UPPSC PCS mains exam. Candidates who qualify the Prelims will be able to download the UPPSC mains admit card. This is a descriptive paper having eight papers. You can check out the UPPSC syllabus to get a better understanding.

UPPSC PCS Call Letter for Interview

The last time the UPPSC will release the call letter is for the interview. Candidates who qualify the Mains exam will be called to appear for the UPPSC PCS interview to be appointed PCS officers in the Uttar Pradesh state. Thus, the final selection of the candidates will be done through the marks obtained in Mains and Interview.


  • Candidates need to visit UPPSC website to download UPPSC PCS admit card 2022. The link to download UPPSC Mains admit card is active from 19 September 2022 onwards. The candidates need to login using their UPPSC registration number and date of birth to download UPPSC PCS call letter.
