Every two years, the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts the recruitment process for 'Child Development Project Officer’ (CDPO) in the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra. In today's article, we will look at the syllabus of the MPSC CDPO exam.

MPSC CDPO Exam 2021: Exam Syllabus

The syllabus is a kind of doctrinal tool that sets the standard for what is expected throughout the examination. A syllabus actually serves as an agreement between the candidates and the examiner that contains the tasks and ideas used to evaluate a candidate’s performance.

Maharashtra Public Service Commission conducts the recruitment process for 'Child Development Project Officer' in the Women and Child Development Department.

The following posts are recruited from the MPSC through the CDPO examination on behalf of the Government's Women and Child Development Department.

  1. Inspector Certified School and Institution/निरीक्षक प्रमाणित शाळा व संस्था
  2. District Women and Child Development Officer/जिल्हा महिला व बाल विकास अधिकारी
  3. Organization and Method Officer/रचना व कार्यपध्दती अधिकारी
  4. Lecturer/अधिव्याख्याता
  5. Superintendent/अधिक्षक
  6. Statistical Officer/सांख्यिकी अधिकारी

MPSC CDPO 2021 Selection Process

  • The CDPO examination is conducted by MPSC in two stages. The first stage is written examination. In this written examination of 200 marks is taken.
  • The format of the exam consists of objective multiple-choice questions.
  • The second stage of the exam is the interview.
  • In the first phase, the selected candidates are interviewed for 50 marks, and the final selection list will be based on the joint marks of the Prelims Exam and the interview.

Stages of Examination

Below are the stages of the MPSC CDPO examination

  1. लेखी परीक्षा/Written Examination -200 Marks
  2. मुलाखत/Interview - 50 Marks
  3. कागदपत्र पडताळणी/Document Verification

MPSC CDPO Exam Pattern 2021

  • The MPSC CDPO exam written exam consists of 200 marks for which one hour is allotted.
  • For each incorrect answer, 1/4th marks are deducted from the correct answer

Professional social work, research methods of social work, history of social work, philosophy of social work, principles and methods of social work and social reformers in India especially in Maharashtra and their work.

Constitution, structure of government, Zilla Parishad, Panchayat Samiti and Gram Panchayat structure and functions

Human rights

Declaration of Human Rights, Human Rights Implementation Mechanisms, National and State Level Women and Child Development Programs, Women's Policy, Child Policy, National Charter of Children, Rights of Women and Children, Millennium Development Goals Program, United Nations Report, Child Mortality Rate, Gender Ratio .
