MPSC CDPO Eligibility Criteria 2021

• The MPSC will conduct MPSC CDPO 2021 exam to select eligible candidates for the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) in Maharashtra. MPSC CDPO is one of the most coveted jobs in the Maharashtra government and a dream job for millions of aspirants across the state. 
• Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has notified the eligibility criteria for MPSC CDPO Examination 2021.
• Candidates/aspirants who want to apply for the post of CDPO must first check and confirm whether the various criteria under MPSC CDPO eligibility have been met. Candidates can proceed to fill MPSC CDPO application after fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
• The application is rejected due to non-compliance with the MPSC CDPO eligibility criteria, and the candidature is cancelled if any discrepancies are found in the details provided.

MPSC CDPO 2021: Age Limit & Age Relaxation

The MPSC sets a certain age limit for the applicants who apply for the CDPO post.

The date mentioned in the MPSC CDPO advertisement should not be more than 38 years for non-backwards class candidates and not more than 43 years for backward class candidates.

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 38 Years

Age Relaxation

In the case of regular employees in government service, the upper age limit is relaxed after 10 years. However, only one concession will be available to the backward class employees in the government service as government employees for only 10 years instead of the age limit concession of their backward class candidates.

The following table gives detailed information about the post-wise age limit & age relaxation for the MPSC CDPO exam 2021.

Note:

• The age limit for ex-servicemen, emergency and short service officers will be 43 years.
• The age limit shall not be relaxed in any case other than the age limit specified by the Commission.

MPSC CDPO 2021: Educational Qualification

The MPSC has laid down some educational qualifications to comply with the MPSC CDPO eligibility criteria.

Candidates aiming to apply for the MPSC CDPO Exam should meet the Educational Criteria listed below.

• Candidates must have a bachelor's or master's degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, Law, Social Work, Psychology, Home Science or Nutrition from a statutory university or any other qualification recognized by the government to be equivalent.
• As per the service admission rules and government letter, the educational qualification in the branch of medicine and engineering will not be eligible for the CDPO post.
• There is no minimum limit of marks for filling the MPSC CDPO 2021 Application Form.
• Candidates applying for the MPSC CDPO exam need to be able to read, write and speak Marathi.

MPSC CDPO 2021: Nationality Criteria

Nationality is one of the important criteria; candidates need to check before applying for the MPSC CDPO exam.

The following are the nationality criteria for the MPSC CDPO exam

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen. 
• The candidate must be required to have Maharashtra Domicile Certificate. 
• Candidates from other than India will not be eligible.

MPSC CDPO 2021: Physical Criteria

The MPSC has not declared any physical eligibility for the MPSC CDPO Examination. Therefore, there is no requirement of any physical qualification for the candidates for the MPSC CDPO Examination.
