The candidates can download their XAT Result in the form of a scorecard directly from the official website: xatonline.in, using their login details. XAT Scorecard contains all the information regarding the candidate's name, address, scorecard validity, dare, score, and percentile.

XAT Result allows the candidates to be shortlisted for further selection rounds for MBA admission in XLRI Jamshedpur and other XAMI member institutes. After the declaration of XAT 2024 result, XLRI will declare the section-wise and category-wise cut-off for BM, and HRM. As per the official updates, XAT Result contains all the information, including sectional and overall score percentile secured by the candidates. You can use your result while applying for MBA Admission in XLRI and other XAMI institutes. The candidates have to download XAT Result 2024 from the official website as they will not get any hard copy of it via postal or courier services.

You must download your XAT 2024 Result cum scorecard as soon as possible after it is released online. The result download link on the XAT official website will expire within a few days of declaration. XAT score for every candidate is calculated based on raw scores obtained by the candidates in each section. For each right answer, +1 mark is awarded, and for each wrong answer, - 0.25 marks are deducted in this exam. However, if a candidate has skipped 8 consecutive questions, -0.10 marks will be deducted. The candidates must check the XAT Exam Pattern well to understand the marking scheme of this exam.

How to Calculate Score using XAT Result 2024?

The total marks obtained by the candidates in all the sections are summed up. After that, the candidates will be ranked according to their total marks in XAT. The rank is then further divided by the number of appearing candidates. Then multiply by 100 to get the XAT Percentile Score.

For Example:

Suppose 80,000 candidates appeared for XAT. One of them ranked 500. So, XAT Percentile for that candidate will be

= 79,500/80,000x100=99.375

There is a chance that 2 or more candidates can get the same score. In this case, XLRI will follow the tie-breaker to shortlist the candidates for the final selection round. Given below are the precise tie-breaker criteria obeyed in case of the same XAT Result in the below sequence.

• The candidates who will get more marks in graduation will be given preference.
• Candidates with higher marks in XAT Result will be selected.
• Candidates of older age will be given priority.

What is After XAT 2024 Result?

After the declaration of the XAT Result, XLRI will announce the cut-off and percentile for MBA admission in Business Management (BM)/ PGDM and Human Resource Management (HRM) courses. The candidates who will score the required percentile will get a call to attend further selection rounds. They will be asked to fill out a form on the institute's official website indicating their interest in Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Get a list of XAT Colleges and make your preferences to join the top XAMI institutes to study MBA.

• All the shortlisted candidates will get the GD-PI schedule through an e-mail in their registered mail ID.
• Candidates' final selection will be made based on the candidate's overall performance in XAT 2024, academics & GD-PI rounds.
• After the declaration of the XAT Result, the candidates must apply for XLRL Admission. XLRI will announce the course-wise XAT cut-off within the next few days of the result declaration. So, the candidates can apply for the GD/PI round on the official website of XLRI. Candidates need to log in with their XAT registration ID and submit their scores.
• Start Preparation for XAT GD Round after the declaration of the XAT Result 2024: It is a very important round for the XAT Selection Process. GD round assesses candidates' communication, decision-making, leadership, and analytical reasoning skills. In GD, the candidates must analyze the given topic first and then deliver their thoughts in front of the panel.
• Do practice a lot for the WAT after the XAT Result declaration. The candidates will receive an essay topic to write and have to deliver it within a scheduled time. So, you must be aware of writing an essay unbiasedly, without any grammatical and constructional errors.
• After the announcement of the XAT Result 2024, the candidates must be prepared for the personality assessment (PI) round. This round evaluates the candidates' interpersonal, problem-solving, and aptitude skills.
