XAT Exam Pattern 2022

XAT exam pattern 2022 must be understood in a comprehensive manner to ensure that you are well prepared for the upcoming exam. The XAT will be conducted entirely in English. In addition, the XAT test pattern specifies the type and amount of questions that will be asked during the exam. XAT is a national-level MBA entrance test administered by XLRI Jamshedpur, and it is typically classified into difficult standards.

Latest XAT 2022 Exam Pattern

As per the XAT New Exam Pattern, the XAT Exam 2022 has 2 distinct parts, namely Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 comprises 3 sections and Part 2 comprises 1 section. Key Points to Remember for XAT Exam Pattern 2022

  • It is a computer-based examination.
  • There is a negative marking for each wrong answer.
  • All questions are MCQs.
  • The time duration of the XAT Exam is 3 hours.
  • The XAT Exam Pattern does not contain a descriptive part.
  • There is no sectional timing in XAT Exam, only G.K section has a 15 minute time limit.

XAT Marking Scheme 2022

One of the most important factors to keep in mind the XAT marking scheme exam. The marking scheme is a little bit different from the other exams. There is no negative marking for wrong answers in the General Knowledge section. The is also a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. There is also a negative marking for leaving answers unattempted. If there are 8 or more questions unanswered you will be penalized with 0.10 marks.

  • One mark will be awarded for each correct answer
  • One-fourth marks will be deducted for the wrong answer
  • 0.10 marks will be deducted for 8 or more unanswered answers.
  • There are no negative marks for the general knowledge section.
  • The general awareness score will not be included in the final merit list.
