The MPSC PSI 2022 Prelims examination consists of 100 objective types of questions for 100 marks, and the exam is conducted for 60 minutes. There is a negative marking system of 0.25 (25 percent) marks for each incorrect answer. The mode of prelims examination is offline, and there are 3 sections in the prelims exam.

The MPSC PSI Main exam will be conducted for 300 marks, in which 150 questions will be asked. The medium of this exam will be both English and Marathi. About 90 minutes will be allotted for the PSI mains exam. The PSI main question paper format will be of an objective multiple choice type. There will be only one subject that deals with the law (major laws and other laws). There is a negative marking system of 0.25 (25 percent) marks for each incorrect answer. Applicants who score equal to or more than the MPSC PSI mains cutoff marks set by the Commission in the written examination will be called for the physical test. As mentioned above, the candidates who qualify based on the mains examination result will have to appear for the MPSC PSI physical test at their own cost at the place fixed by the Commission and on the prescribed date.
The physical test is conducted for 100 marks and a minimum of 45% marks in the physical test is required in the MPSC PSI physical test. Details of the Physical Test are as follow:

Only those candidates who have secured 45% marks in MPSC PSI physical test will be called for the document verification process. The candidature of candidates who cannot submit the prescribed documents will be canceled. Also, no extension will be given for the same.
