The CAT exam was held in 156 cities in 2020, and the CAT exam in 2021 will be held in 159 cities, an increase of three cities over the previous year. Candidates can now also select "Srinagar" as the desired city for the CAT 2021 exam. In order to minimise any trouble, candidates are suggested to choose CAT exam centres 2021 that are somewhat close to their residence when enrolling for the exam.

CAT Slot Timings 2021
On November 28, 2021, the exam will be conducted in three slots of 2 hours each. The CAT exam slot timings will be as follows:
- Slot 1 - 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Slot 2 - 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
- Slot 3 - 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Steps To Choose CAT Exam Centres 2021?
Students are recommended to follow the rules set forth by the government as well as the exam conducting organisation, IIM Ahmedabad, in the aftermath of COVID 19. Read the entire article to learn more about the CAT exam centres in 2021, including the states and towns where the exam will be held.
- Candidates must choose at least six cities from which to take the CAT exam when filling out the application form.
- The CAT exam centres for 2021 must be chosen in order of preference.
- Depending on availability, candidates will be assigned to the city of their choosing.
- If a seat at that particular CAT 2021 exam centre is not available, the candidate will be assigned to the next open test centre.

Exam-Day Guidelines for CAT Exam Day 2021:
- It is recommended that candidates arrive at the CAT exam centre at least 30 minutes before the gate closes.
- Before the end of CAT 2021, double-check the reporting time.
- Bring your admission card and any other relevant documents.
- The CAT Application Number is the candidate's primary reference identifier.
- Locate Exam Lab/Console in the CAT 2021 exam centres using the application number mentioned on your CAT admission card.
DOs and DON'Ts for CAT 2021 Exam Centre
DOs:
- Print the CAT 2021 admit card on A4 paper.
- In the space available on the CAT admit card 2021, candidates must paste their photographs.
- Make sure you have a hard copy of your CAT 2021 admit card as well as original ID evidence before going to the CAT 2021 exam centres.
- To find the CAT 2021 exam centres, use the google map link (which is integrated on the e-admit card).
- The Forenoon session begins at 7:00 a.m., the Afternoon session begins at 11:00 a.m., and the Evening session begins at 3:00 p.m.
- Attendance with a signature on the given form is required.
- Once the exam is completed, hand over the CAT admission card to the invigilator.
- When the exam is over, return the writing pad.
- Work along with the Test Center's employees.
- Answer MCQ questions with the mouse, and TITA questions with the on-screen keyboard.
DON'Ts:
- Inside the CAT 2021 exam centres, do not bring any forbidden objects.
- Do not get into a fight with other candidates or staff members.
- If you utilise the keyboard, your system will be locked (unless you are answering the TITA type question).
- Do not squander the given writing pad.
- Do not try to copy or cheat answers.
- Do not remove any pages from the writing pad.
- Unless there is a medical emergency, do not request a bio-break.
