Check changes made in the last year's CAT Notification 2023 in detail. The authority had made a little change in the CAT form fee in 2022 (Rs. 1150 for reserves categories and Rs.2300 for General categories). Additionally, the test centre has been increased to 150 test cities, as per last year's CAT Notification. • Bachelor's degree with a pass certificate. Earlier, there was a minimum marks requirement of at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in the case of SC, ST, and PWD categories).
• Candidates appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
• Candidates should fulfil any one of the following conditions:
• Completed Bachelor's degree with the required percentage of marks.
• Completed a professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with the required percentage.
• Should be in the final year of Bachelor's degree with the required percentage.

CAT Exam Notification 2023: Reservation Policy

As per the legal requirements, CAT 2023 conducting body has reserved the following section of seats for the reserved category.

• Go to the official website of CAT 2023
• Register as the 'New Candidate Registration'. (The registration link will activate as per the dates
• As a part of the CAT 2023 Registration, you have to fill in some of the basic details like your name, email id, contact number, DOB, etc.
• Once you have successfully registered, you will have to log in again to the website and complete the application.
• As a part of the CAT application Form, you have to fill in the required details.
• You have to upload your passport-size photograph and signature (both should be of a size less than 80 kb each).

• Select the test centre out of the given list. You are allowed to select four centres.
• You can pay for the application by any of the following methods: Credit card/debit card/DD etc.
• Once you are registered, you will receive a confirmation email on your registered email id. You can take a printout of the application form and keep it for your future reference.

The Common Admission Test CAT 2023 will be conducted online mode. The test is divided into 3 sections, namely: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation, and Quantitative Ability. CAT 2023 Exam Pattern: Section-Wise Break Up (Expected)

• The CAT exam duration is for 2 hours and every section is for 40 minutes.
• A candidate cannot move to the next section until he/she completes the time allocated in the previous section. Also, one cannot move back to the previous sections after the allotted time for that section is over (switching of sections is not allowed). Get all the details for CAT Cut Off.
• There are two types of questions in the test: MCQs and non-MCQs (also known as TITA), where the candidate has to write the answer in the space provided.

Note: There is an allotment of 3 marks for every correct answer, and one mark is deducted for every incorrect attempt. However, there is no negative marking for the CAT Non MCQ Questions.
