The national-level MBA entrance exam, CAT, is the gateway to more than 500 top B-schools across the nation including colleges like IIMs, IITs, FMS, IMI, MDI, and many more. Only those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for CAT 2022 shall be able to apply for CAT. 

CAT entrance exam 2022 registration date has been released. The CAT 2022 Registration has started from  3rd August 2022 and will end on 14th September 2022. The candidates must check and read all the instructions and details before filling the registration form for CAT 2022 exam. Also, it is recommended not to wait for the last day and fill the form well in advance. 

It is very important to keep all the documents handy before you start your application process to avoid any errors. Seeing the current situation, it is expected that  same CAT exam pattern and syllabus will be followed as in CAT 2021.

The number of questions in CAT 2022 is expected to be similar to what we have seen in CAT 2021. As per the CAT's latest exam pattern, it is expected that the CAT 2022 will have in total.

Details Required for CAT Registration 2022

Before proceeding to fill the CAT Application Form 2022, you must keep the documents ready in scanned format. For CAT Registration 2022, you need to fill the following fields:

• Candidate's Name
• Date of Birth
• Email address
• Mobile Number

Documents Required for CAT Registration

• Coloured Passport size Photograph in white Background (less than 80KB)
• Scanned image of Signature (less than 80KB)
• Academic documents (mark sheets and certificates)
• Valid PWD (Person with Disability) certificate
• Scribe affidavit for suitable PWD candidates
• Caste/Category certificate issued by Government

CAT Registration 2022 - Step by Step Guide

The CAT Registration and CAT Application Form have started. All the interested candidates must fill their form and pay the CAT Registration Fee before the last date of CAT Registration 2022. It is suggested to keep all the documents (mentioned above) handy before applying for CAT 2022.

Steps to Fill CAT Exam Form 2022

Given below is the step-by-step guide to fill the CAT Application Form for CAT 2022:

• Visit the official website for CAT 2022 (www.iim cat.ac.in)
• Click on the “New Candidate Registration” button visible on the screen.
  
  
  
• You will be redirected to the new page where you will be asked to enter your primary details like
• Name
• Date of Birth
• Email Address
• Country
• Mobile Number
• After entering the details, you will need to click on “Generate OTP”
• The OTP so generated will be sent to your mobile number and email address that you have mentioned
• You need to enter the OTP you have received on your mobile/email and enter the captcha code given then press “Submit” to register yourself successfully for CAT 2022
• Your login credential will be generated and sent to your registered email address
• Login to your CAT portal with your login credentials that you have received on mail
• You will be required to fill in the following details as soon as you log in for the first time
• Personal Details
• Other personal information
• Communication Details
• Emergency contact details
• Documents to be uploaded (in the specified format)
• For the academic details, you will need to enter details about 10th, 12th, graduation, post-graduation (if any), and work experience (if any)
• After doing that, you need to enter your communication and emergency contact details
• After that, you need to select the IIMs you wish to get admission to and the city of interview
• After you have added these details, you need to select 6 cities for the test centre in order of your preference for taking the CAT 2022 exam
• After the completion of all the above-stated steps, you need to pay the CAT registration fee as per your category
• Once your payment is realized by the CAT authorities, your application will be considered final and you may download your CAT Admit Card once it gets available on the portal.
