BSSC Inter level Exam Selection Process- Stages
Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) will conduct the BSSC Inter level Exam Exam soon as per the BSSC Calendar 2021. The BSSC Inter level Exam Selection Process 2021 is a 3 stage process. Each stage is different from the other one. Candidates who clear all the stages of the Bihar SSC Recruitment Process 2021 shall be appointed for the vacancies announced this year. The following stages are included in the selection process:
The BSSC Inter level Exam Selection Procedure begins with the BSSC application after the release of the BSSC Inter level Exam Notification every year. Below you will find all details related to the BSSC Recruitment Process 2021 and all its significant stages.

Stage 1: Preliminary Test

BSSC Inter level Stage 1: Preliminary Test
The preliminary exam for the BSSC Inter level Exam 2021 is the first step in the selection process. All applicants are required to take the preliminary exam. This preliminary test includes topics like General Awareness, Mathematics, Science, Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability. The duration of the prelims exam is 135 minutes and there are 150 questions each carries 4 marks. The standard of questions shall be as expected of an educated person having passed 12 examinations of the Bihar Board. It is Screening in nature, if someone is not able to score enough they will get disqualified. The below table shows the exam pattern of the BSSC inter level prelims exam

BSSC Inter level Stage 2: Mains Test
BSSC Mains exam is the second stage in the recruitment process. Candidates who qualify prelims exam will be called for the mains exam. BSSC Inter level mains exam consists of two Papers General Hindi and General Awareness & Mathe. The below table shows the exam pattern of the BSSC Mains exam.
- The distribution of marks for Paper 1 & Paper 2 is 400 and 600 marks respectively.
- The duration of both the paper is 2 hours and 15 minutes.
- For every right answer, the candidate is awarded 4 marks.
- There is a negative marking of 1 mark in BSSC Inter level Mains.

BSSC Inter level Stage 3: Interview/Document Verification
Below are the documents to be carried by the candidates for the BSSC Inter level document verification round:
- Date of Birth Certificate
- SSC Memo
- Minimum educational qualification certificate with mark-sheet
- Income Certificate
- Category Certificate
- PwD Certificate for the candidates with disabilities.
BSSC Inter level Exam Merit List
Candidates have to qualify for all three stages to rank on the Merit List. The Final merit list for the BSSC Inter level Exam will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the examination for each category as per the Bihar government policy and this list will be sent for medical examination/document verification to the concerned department.
