Bihar Amin 2020-21: Cut-offs!! BCECEB has published a list of candidates who have been shortlisted to appear for the Bihar Amin 2020-21 Exam. Along with the list of candidates, the Official cut-off for the same has been released as well by the Board. In this article, we will see all the details related to cut-offs for Bihar Amin Exam 2020-21.
The Bihar Amin Exam is conducted in two phases.
- A Computer Based Test
- Personal Interview
Before a candidate can appear for the CBT, his application is reviewed and only the candidates approved by the board are eligible to appear for the Computer Based Test. The Approval Criteria are based on the Intermediate Marks and Experience level of the candidates.

Bihar Amin Cut-off 2020-2021 Exam
Stages and Types of Cut-off in Bihar Amin 2020-21 Exam:
Stage 1-Before CBT: Candidates applying for the Bihar Amin exam are asked to submit their intermediate marks details and experience as Amin as well. On the basis of these two parameters, BCECEB sets minimum Cut-off marks for the candidates who are eligible to appear for the Computer Based Test, which is the first stage of Examination.
Stage 2-After CBT: This Cut-off is released by the Board after the CBT is held. The list of candidates who are successful in the CBT exam and are eligible to move on towards the next stage of examination is published as well. On the basis of Stage-1 marks and Stage-2 Marks combined a Merit List is formed. These students are called for DV/Interview where the final decision of appointment is taken by the Board.
Qualifying Cut-Off Marks in CBT:
These are the minimum marks that a candidate needs to score in the Computer Based Test to ensure his selection in the exam. The candidates who score below the minimum qualifying marks are not allowed to appear for the next stage of the examination. These marks have been published by BCECEB in the official notification and are given below as well.

How is Bihar Amin 2020-21 Cut-Off Calculated?
Stage-1 (Before CBT)
At this stage, the Cut-Off marks are decided by BCECEB on the basis of marks in Intermediate and the experience if any. the Board sets Cut-Off marks as tabulated above to ensure the feasibility of the CBT exam as applications for the Post are generally very High.
Stage-2 (After CBT)
After the CBT Exam has been held and results are announced BCECEB announces the Cut-Offs for various categories and a list of candidates who have been declared successful to appear for DV/Interview.
