Basic Eligibility Criteria for APPSC Assistant Engineer
The basic eligibility criteria for APPSC AE is given below here.
- You must have a healthy lifestyle, active habits and has no physical problems either weaknesses that make him unfit for the job.
- You should have a good character and antecedents that fit this job.
- You should possess the educational and other qualifications prescribed for the post
- You must be a citizen of India with valid proof such as Aadhar Card, Voter ID card etc.

Domicile for APPSC AE
All the candidates who are citizens of India are allowed to appear for the APPSC AE Recruitment 2022. However, the age relaxation is applicable only to those who are Andhra Pradesh domiciles.

Age Limit for APPSC AE Recruitment
The age limit of aspirants applying for the post of APPSC AE is as follows:
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Maximum Age: 42 years.
Age Relaxation for APPSC Assistant Engineer
The age relaxation for the APPSC AE exam is applicable only if you belong to Andhra Pradesh. The age relaxation for reserved categories is given below:

Ex-Serviceman/NCC | Allowed to deduct from his age for a period of 3 years in addition to the period of service provided |

No work experience is required to apply for the post of Assistant Engineer in Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).
