The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is conducting the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Selection Process. Stage 1: UPPSC RO ARO Preliminary Examination

  • It has a total of 200 marks.
  • Every wrong response receives a negative mark. Negative marking accounts for one-third of the total marks given to the question, or 0.33 marks.

Stage 2: UPPSC RO ARO Main Examination

Those who are successful in the first stage are called for the main examination. The UPPSC RO ARO Mains exam pattern is as follows:

  • In the mains test, there is also a multiple choice objective test paper.
  • The main exam is worth 400 marks.
  • Every incorrect response will result in a negative mark. There will be a one-third reduction in the marks given to the question.

Stage 3: UPPSC RO ARO Interview

After passing the preliminary and main exams, applicants are eligible for the final round of interviews.

  • In this stage, the UPPSC will evaluate candidates based on their abilities and practical knowledge relevant to the job description.
  • Even though there is no set syllabus for the interview process, candidates must prepare current events for this phase.

  • Yes. For every incorrect answer in the UPPSC RO ARO Examination one-third of the marks assigned to the question are deducted.

  • For the post of UPPSC Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO), the candidates have to undergo three stages of the selection process- Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. The candidate is called for the final Interview round only after getting shortlisted in the Preliminary and Main Examination.
