UPPSC Review Officer Salary 

According to the 7^th Pay Commission, The UPPSC RO Payscale is 47,600/- to 1,51,100/-.

According to the 6^th Pay Commission, RO Payscale was 9300/- to 34800/- with the grade pay 4800/-.

In hand salary of the Review Officer depends on allowances (DA and HRA) and deductions (PF and NPS) but generally, the first salary is more than 50,000/-.

UPPSC Assistant Review Officer Salary

Similarly, According to the 7^th Pay Commission, The UPPSC ARO Payscale is 44,900/- to 1,42,400/-.

According to the 6^th Pay Commission, the RO Payscale was 9300/- to 34800/- with the grade pay 4600/-.

In hand salary of Assistant Review Officer depends on allowances and deductions but generally, the first salary is more than 45,000/-.

As against other officers of the same pay scale who can be posted anywhere in the State, RO/ARO are generally posted in Lucknow and Prayagraj. Duty hours for RO/ARO are limited to 8 hours.

Job Profile of RO/ARO includes the following tasks which should be performed by RO/ARO.

• The Review Officer (RO) is in charge of maintaining file records like the diary and related documents and prepares the demand letters & pending file records in the allotted sections.
• To file the letters issued in the records in the section and to retain the records of allocation to the section and also monitor the operation of documents, manuals, etc.
• To release imprinted letters intended for issuance with complete preparation.
• To prepare new copies and detailed letters.
• Helping other assistants to compare fresh copies from various departments
• To document emails and posts published in the Peon book and to investigate Peon Book after the letters have been circulated.
• Maintain the secrecy of the manuals and other records that circulate under him.
• The duty of the ARO is to assist the Review Officer, as and when appropriate, in managing his manuals and other related jobs.
• Maintaining waiting registrations and presenting the waiting files on the assigned date to the associated assistants.
• To shortlist and present the deposited files to the associated assistant for record slip planning.
• To arrange letters of demand in other agencies with outstanding files.
• To conduct all other duties allocated by the Section Officer and Review Officer to whom ARO is attached.
• The Assistant Review Officer would have to do all the section typing jobs where the typist is not deployed.
