UP PCS J Age Limit 2023

A candidate for direct recruitment to the UP PCS J service must have attained the age of 22 years and not have reached the age of more than 35. However, if candidates belong to the OBC, SC, ST, EWS or PWD category, they are eligible to avail of age relaxation as notified by the Uttar Pradesh government. UP PCS J Eligibility 2023: Qualification

According to the UP PCS J notification, the following educational qualifications are required of the candidates.

  • A candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university OR,
  • He must be enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocate Act 1961, a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland, or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland, with the right to practice in the Court or Courts subordinate to it. 
  • Candidates must also thoroughly understand the Hindi Language in Devnagari Script.

The UP PCS J exam eligibility says that the candidate must be a citizen of India to be eligible for the UP PCS Judicial Service Exam. Candidates from other countries are debarred to take the exam. Their application will get rejected by the commission.
