MP TET Preparation Tips

MP TET is conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) and is scheduled to be held soon. This is the right time to kick start your preparation mode and here we are bringing a preparation plan and strategy for the upcoming MP TET. Thus candidates required key beneficial strategies to prepare the MP TET exam without any hassle.

How to Prepare for MPTET 2022?

We are sharing Preparation Tips to crack the MP TET.

1. Know MP TET 2022 Exam Pattern

  • In the MP TET, there will be 150 questions asked carrying a total of 150 marks and the time allotted will be 150 minutes.
  • It will be conducted through Online Mode.
  • The question paper will consist of the multiple-choice question (MCQ) including 5 sections, each section will have a set of 30 questions.
  • There will be no negative marking in the MP TET exam.

Note: Mathematics and Science are for Maths and Science teachers ( For Science Background students). Social Science is for Social Science teachers ( For Arts Background students).

2. Follow MP TET 2022 Syllabus

  • MP TET Syllabus for the paper - I, During your preparation, try to cover the whole MP TET syllabus prior time.
  • MP TET Paper-I includes Child Development & Pedagogy, Language-1, language-2, Environmental Studies, Mathematics.
  • The question paper will be Bilingual (Hindi/English).
  • 20 Language options are available on the MP TET notification, Candidates can choose only two languages from given 20 languages.

3. Focus on your weak Area of Study

  • Identify the area in which you are not up to the mark and still need improvement.
  • Try to understand the basic concepts of each topic thoroughly.
  • On the topic, you have to try and practice more questions of it.
  • Practice MP TET previous year question paper to understand your weak points.

4. Read Important Books for MP TET

  • Prepare at least one Important MP TET Books for each subject as described in the MP TET Exam syllabus.
  • You can gain more insight into the topic by going through NCERT Books of Classes 3rd to 8th.
  • You can also prefer any of the books from Arihant and Chandresh Aggarwal for MP TET APRIL 2020 preparation.

5. Learn the Basic Concept and Practice quizzes

  • As child development & pedagogy plays a crucial role to focus more on it.
  • Try to attempt the quizzes of each subject on a regular basis.
  • Must attempt MP TET test series on a regular basis & analyze your score of each subject.

6. Make Habit of preparing short notes

  • One should start preparing short notes of each and every topic part of the syllabus.
  • Short notes will help you to revise the entire syllabus in one go prior to the exam
  • Important topics for Child Development and Pedagogy-Intelligence theories, Theories of Child Development, Theories of Intelligence, Ideology and principle of thinkers under the child development section & The concept of Inclusive education and understanding children with special needs.
  • Revise NCERT Books: Students appearing for the paper I/paper II must revise the NCERT books from class I - V/ VI-VIII depending upon the paper code.

7. Thoroughly revise all Concepts and Theories Prior to Exam

  • Once you have gone through the whole syllabus, try to revise all the important topics on a weekly basis.
  • Try to memorize the concept, important theories, and formulas during the revision according to the self-created tricks or shortcuts.
  • Try to understand the basic concept behind each question and then apply the trick to derive at its answer.

8. Make Habit of Practicing Mock Test Regularly

  • Regularly attempting mock tests is vital to score good marks in the real exam.
  • Analyze your section-wise score and try to improve your score by working on the week area.
  • On the basis of the mock test score, one can manage time effectively.

9. MP TET Exam Qualifying Marks

  • Try to attempt all 150 questions because there is no negative marking in the MP TET 2022.
  • For the general category, you need to score 90 out of 150 marks in order to qualify the MP TET 2022.
  • There is no sectional cutoff so don't be afraid of any subject.
