NRA CET Centres 2022: Check State wise Exam Centers List

The Common Eligibility Test (CET) is a national-level combined entrance test that will be held every year, starting from early 2022. The exam will be organized under the newly formed National Recruitment Agency (NRA) for the tier-1 non-gazetted posts, non-technical Group B posts, and Group C posts in the various Central Government organizations. 

The NRA CET will serve as a common test for the various posts in the Central Government organizations, including the Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs), Staff Selection Commission (SSC), and Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS). However, the organizations will conduct the tier-2 and tier-3 levels separately on their own. 

The NRA will set up around 1,000 exam centers in almost every district of India. The NRA is also planning to build 117 new centers in the most aspirational districts. 

The exponential rise in exam centers will provide major relief to the rural candidates who earlier had to travel miles for the exam and arrange accommodation and transportation. Also, being a combined exam for almost all the major government organizations, the NRA CET will lower the burden on candidates. It will be economical as they have to pay the fees for only one exam. It will reduce the pressure so that they can focus more on preparations.

During the application process, candidates can choose the nearest exam centres in the district. Generally, candidates have to choose three centers based on priority.
