Marking Scheme
- Each question will carry 4 marks
- - 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except for the Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking).
Eligibility Criteria for IPMAT 2022
Check the eligibility criteria of IPMAT 2022 to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Indore.
Age Criteria: Aspirants should have been born on or after August 01, 2002 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from the SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. the aspirants should born on or after August 01, 1997).
Qualifying Exam: Aspirants should have passed Standard 10th/12th or equivalent examination in 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022.
Minimum Percentage (%) of marks:
- Passing year in 2019 or before for standard 10th or 12th - Aspirants should have a minimum of 60% in standard 10th or 12th (55 % for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category).
- The Aspirants should have passed in 2020 for standard 10th or 12th or equivalent- standard 10th or 12th.
- For standard 10th or 12th or equivalent- The Aspirant should have passed standard 10th or 12th or equivalent examinations.
Phases of IPMAT 2022 Selection Procedure
Phase 1 – Registration of Candidates
The aspirants had to verify the eligibility criteria for IPMAT 2022 before filling out the application form. Only eligible aspirants will be called to appear for the aptitude test (AT).
Phase 2 - IPMAT 2022
On the basis of application, IIM Indore will call eligible candidates to appear for IPMAT 2022 i.e. the aptitude test. IPMAT 2022 exam will schedule to be on 2nd July 2022. IPMAT 2022 will be operating across 34 cities in India.
Phase 3 - Eligible pool for Personal Interview (PI)
In this stage, the eligible pool for Personal Interview (PI) is created considering only the candidates having positive raw scores and a minimum mark in each of the three sections of the Aptitude Test. The minimum cut-off mark in each section will be decided by the Admissions Committee. The minimum cut-off mark in each section will be based on the categories of applicants. Regret letters of the candidates will not be sent to candidates who are not qualified at this stage.
Phase 4 – Generation of Merit List
A sufficient number of candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview (PI) from the eligible pool for each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST, and PwD) using the merit list generated based on Aptitude Test Score (ATS) as mentioned below:

Phase 5 - Final List
IIM Indore will publish a category-wise final merit list as part of the selection procedure of IPMAT 2022. The merit list will be based on the Composite Score (CS) as mentioned below. IIM Indore will not give any indication to candidates who will not be selected.
