ISRO CS Eligibility 2021

Candidates aspiring to appear for the ISRO CS 2021 exam should be well aware of the eligibility criteria for the ISRO  CS exam 2021. The ISRO CS eligibility is the set conditions decided by the Indian Space Research Organization for recruiting candidates from computer science background. Candidates should meet all the eligibility criteria for ISRO CS so that they can appear for the exam successfully without any hindrance. If the candidate is unable to meet any of the eligibility conditions, then they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. It is recommended that candidates should carefully refer to the ISRO CS eligibility so that they have fruitful results of dedicatedly following a study plan to clear the exam.

ISRO CS Educational Qualifications

Candidates should have the following educational qualifications for the ISRO CS exam 2021:

  • BE/B.Tech or equivalent Degree in the disciplines like Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Computer Science with First Class and an aggregate of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters for which results are available).
  • Students who are currently in the final year of engineering are not eligible for this recruitment.

Candidates can check the age limit for ISRO CS by referring to the table below. The age should not exceed in any category as of 14/10/2021.

Candidates can take a look at the number of vacancies released by the Indian Space Research Organization. The total number of vacancies as per the official notification that has been released by the ISRO is 357. The ISRO vacancy distribution is given below:

ISRO CS Exam Pattern

The ISRO CS exam is qualifying in nature. In order to proceed further in the recruitment process, candidates should clear the written exam. All the questions that will be asked in the ISRO CS written exam will be based on the ISRO CS syllabus. The ISRO CS exam is objective in nature in which each question carries 1 mark. The total number of questions in the written exam is 80. A deduction of 1/3 mark will be applied for each wrong answer.

ISRO CS Eligibility FAQs

  • No, final year BTech CSE students can not appear for the ISRO CS exam 2021.
