TSNPDCL AE Notification 2018 for 68 Vacancies Released, Applications End on 27th June!

TSNPDCL AE recruitment 2018 has commenced! Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd. (TSNPDCL) is inviting online applications from enthusiastic and young engineering graduates for the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) & Assistant Engineer (Civil). Candidates satisfying the required eligibility criteria can apply for 68 vacancies of Assistant Engineer from 12th June 2018.

Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering /Electrical & Electronics Engineering or
  • Any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a pass in Section ‘A’& ‘B’ of AMIE examination
Assistant Engineer (Civil)
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or
  • Any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a pass in Section ‘A’& ‘B’ of AMIE examination

Age Limit

As on 01.01.2018

  • Minimum 18 years and maximum 44 years.
  • Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years in respect of SC/ST/BC candidates and up to 10 years in respect of Physically Handicapped candidates

Selection Procedure

  • Final selection will be completely based on the Written Test as there will be no interview.
  • Candidates qualifying the written examination by being ranked high, community wise will only be invited for verification of Original Certificates in 1:1 ratio.
  • Scheme of Written test:
    • The written test comprises of 2 sections and a total of 100 MCQ's carrying 100 marks (1 Mark each)
    • The section A consisting of 80 questions on Core technical subject and the section B consisting of 20 questions on General Awareness and Numerical Ability.
    • The duration of the written examination will be of 2 hours.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in the written test for various cateries are as follows
    • OC - 40%
    • BC - 35%
    • SC/ST - 30%
    • PH - 30%  

Application Fee

  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC Communities are exempted from payment of examination fee i.e they have to pay Online Application Processing Fee.
  • All other candidates must pay: ₹ 100 (Online Application Processing Fee) and ₹ 120 (Examination Fee)
