Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria 2022

KARTET eligibility 2022 is set conditions that is essential to meet before applying for the KARTET Exam. KARTET Paper 1 Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates should meet the educational qualification for the Karnataka exam if they are looking to be a teacher for classes 1-5. The educational criteria for KARTET Paper 1 are as follows:

  • At least 50% in PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed/appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • At least 50% marks in PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passing/appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • At least 50% marks Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed/appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
  • At least 50% marks in Graduation and passed/appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

KARTET Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates should meet the educational qualification for Karnataka Paper 2 eligibility criteria if they are looking to be a teacher for classes 6-8. The educational criteria for KARTET Paper 2 are as follows:

  • At least 50% marks in Graduation and passed/appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
  • At least 50% marks in Graduation and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
  • At least 50% marks PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passing/appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • At least 50% marks PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed/appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed. OR
  • At least 50% marks in graduation and passed/appearing in Final-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

KARTET Age Limit 2022

It is important to meet KARTET age limit criteria to apply for the upcoming exama. The lower age limit for the applicants is 18 years, and the upper age limit will be around 35 to 40 years (relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates). KARTET Number of Attempts

There is no restriction on the number of attempts for applying in the exam. Candidates who meet all the other KARTET eligibility criteria can apply for the exam any number of times. Candidates can appear in the exam any number of times to score good marks.

KARTET Minimum Qualifying Marks

Candidates from reserved categories such as SC, ST, and differently-abled can obtain a special relaxation in KAR TET Exam.
