• There will two sections in the question paper
• The first paper will be of 50 marks
• The second paper will be 100 marks
• General Knowledge section will be compulsory
• The candidates will have to choose one section from language or general studies or science & mathematics.
• The options in the language part are Hindi or English or Sanskrit.
• The second paper will be social studies/science & maths.

• UP Aided Junior High School Teacher includes two examinations, different for paper-I and paper-II.
• The mode of examination will be offline, i.e., pen and paper-based.
• An OMR sheet will be given for marking the correct answers.
• Examination type will be multiple choice questions and will include 4 options with only 1 correct option
• Language of the paper will be in Hindi and English and candidates can choose any language.
• Paper-I includes 5 subjects which have a total of 150 questions of one mark each.
• Paper-II also includes 5 subjects and a choice between science & maths and social science. A total of 150 questions will be asked and one mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
• There is no negative marking in UP Aided Junior High School Teacher.
• The examination will be of 150 minutes

UP Junior School Teacher Syllabus

To qualify for the UP high school teacher examination, the candidates who belong to the unreserved category will have to score 65% while the reserved category candidates will have to score 60% marks. Selection of the candidates for UP Aided Junior High School Vacancy 2021 will be based on the performance in the score of their academics, written examination and the interview.

How to use the OMR sheet?

OMR stands for Optical Mark Recognition where the correct option is marked by filling the circle with black/blue ballpoint pen. As the UP Aided Junior High School Teacher examination is offline and pen-paper based, OMR sheet serves the purpose of marking the answers. 

Note: The sheet should be clean and shouldn't have any fold, any stray mark on the OMR sheet or writings on the undesirable spaces.

1. The OMR sheet will be placed inside the sealed answer-booklet and should only be taken out after the invigilator announcement.

2. Candidates should fill in the options as specified in the instructions. Candidates will have to write your Roll Number in the specified space in OMR sheet and not anywhere else.

3. The OMR sheet has two sides, one for each paper. You will find the following columns that are intended to be filled by the candidates on side-1:

• Roll Number of the candidate
• Name of the candidate
• Father's name
• Mother's name
• Name of the exam centre
• Exam centre number
• the subject that was chosen in paper-II(if applicable)

4. On side-2, candidates will be required to fill:

• roll number
• main test booklet number
• language supplement booklet number(other than Hindi/English) 
• language supplement booklet number(other than Hindi/English) 
• the subject that was chosen in paper-II (if applicable)
• language in which the questions are attempted
• signature.
