- Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in written examination / Computer Based Test (CBT) and interview / Personal Interaction put together.

- The decision of the NVS about the mode of selection for the notified posts and eligibility conditions of the applicants for interview / Personal Interaction shall be final and binding.
NVS TGT & PGT Important Pointers:
- NVS TGT & PGT includes negative marking (0.25 marks).
- NVS TGT & PGT paper will be conducted in bilingual mode i.e., Hindi & English. It is important to note that for TGTs & Miscellaneous Category Teachers, the medium of the Regional Language paper will be the regional language concerned as opted by the candidate.
- Candidates selected for TGT & PGT posts are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
- Candidates selected for TGT & PGT posts will be on a probation period of two years.
