Stage 1: Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test (TISSNET)
TISS conducts TISSNET Exam once every year. It is a test for admissions into M.A. Programmes for candidates who are interested to join TISS to pursue a career in management and Social Science. It is a national-level exam, and the candidates can get an opportunity to study at 4 TISS Campuses in India: Mumbai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, and Tuljapur. The official notification for TISSNET Registration 2023 is released on the official website on 13 December 2022.
TISSNET is a common screening test for all the students interested in enrolling themselves in the TISS M.A Programmes. The basic overview of the TISSNET Exam Pattern is tabulated below.

Stage 2: Pre-Interview Tests (TISSMAT/TISSPAT) in TISSNET Selection Process
Candidates who qualify for the TISSNET with the required minimum marks will be able to proceed further with the Pre-Interview Tests, i.e TISSPAT and TISSMAT. The candidates who are interested to study M.A in Human Resource Management & Labour Relations and M.A in ODCL (Organisation Development, Change, and Leadership) in TISS Mumbai only have to qualify for TISSMAT to be shortlisted for further TISSNET Selection Process.

Stage 3: TISSNET Personal Interview
It is the last stage of the TISSNET Admission Process. The candidates who have been selected for PIT and GD are eligible to attend this last step of the TISSNET Selection Process. The panelists normally asked questions from the programs that are selected by the candidates. Note one thing the TISSNET Personal Interview round is normally held on the selected TISS campuses. If you applied for more than 1 campus then you have to travel to the respective campuses for this TISSNET Selection Process.
