NMAT Selection Procedure 2023 will start soon after the declaration of cutoffs by NMIMS and other MBA colleges. There is no such common selection process for NMAT, as each participating institute releases its own selection process to shortlist the candidates for MBA admission. What is NMAT Selection Process?

The NMAT Selection Procedure cum admission process includes the shortlisting of candidates after the NMAT 2023 by GMAC, group discussion or case discussion, personal interview, and writing ability test. The NMAT participating institutes in South Africa and the Philippines may have additional NMAT Selection Criteria. NMAT by GMAC Selection Process will begin with candidates registering and appearing for the entrance exam.

  • Appear for NMAT 2023: First of all, the candidates need to appear for the NMAT Exam, expected to be held in the month of November - December 2023.
  • NMAT Result: The candidates can download their results after 72 hours of taking the exam. After this, all NMAT participating institutes will release their respective cut-offs after the exam is ended entirely. Candidates will have to clear NMAT Cut Off to proceed with the selection process.
  • NMAT Selection Process: In the third step, the candidate will have to appear for further screening rounds organized by NMAT Participating Institutes individually, which includes CD (Case Discussion) or WAT followed by PI (Personal Interview) rounds.
  • Final Selection: The final NMAT Selection Process 2023 of the candidate depends upon the score achieved in the screening rounds. The weightage of each round in the NMAT Score will be decided by the respective B-schools.

In 2020, the NMAT WAT Round was conducted online Last year due to the pandemic situation. The candidates were allowed to give their WAT test articles on Google Docs.
