NMAT Exam Pattern 2022 is released by the GMAC (Graduate Management Academic Council). The NMAT Paper Pattern aligns with the previous year's exam structure. There is no change in NMAT 2022 Exam Pattern from the previous sessions.

NMAT 2022 Exam Pattern includes 3 exam sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. The candidates will get 2 hours in which they have to complete 108 questions in all. So that the candidates appearing in NMAT 2022 must be well-versed with all the exam pattern details. NMAT Exam Pattern 2022

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has released the latest NMAT Exam Pattern for all the candidates who are thinking of appearing in the upcoming exam. The NMAT Paper Pattern was revised in 2020, reducing the number of questions in each section and making the exam computer adaptive. The number of questions was reduced to 108 from 120 last year. The NMAT Sectional Timing for all the sections was also revised. The candidates must note the latest changes in the NMAT Exam Pattern 2022 and NMAT exam duration. There are 3 exam sections in NMAT Exam, including Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. As per NMAT Marking Scheme, you will get +3 for every correct answer; however, there is no negative marking. Out of the three NMAT Attempts, the best one is considered for final evaluation. Thereby, the candidates need a clear understanding of the NMAT Exam Pattern to prepare well for the exam.   • Changes in NMAT Sectional Time Limit: The GMAC kept the total time duration the same but changed the sectional timing of the exam. The quant section has maximum time duration whereas the language section has the least time duration in the revised exam pattern. Stay updated with NMAT Registration Process 2022.
  • NMAT Negative Marking: There is no negative marking
  • Candidates can select the sequence of sections to attempt for their benefit.
  • Candidates will receive a single question on the computer screen at a time and cannot switch between sections. Check NMAT Cut Off in detail so that you can understand the range of number you have to score for final admission.
  • NMAT 2022 will be held in two modes: Online mode at the exam centre to at home in online proctored mode.

This section is designed to test the candidate’s verbal reasoning and comprehension skills. The total time duration of this section is 28 minutes. So, you must practice in a time-bound way. Major highlights of NMAT Paper Pattern for Language Skills are

NMAT Exam Pattern: Scaled Scoring System

Scaled scoring is a very important feature of the NMAT Exam. Based on the performance of the candidate in the already attempted questions, the GMAC server selects the same level questions from the questions pool. Only one question will appear on the screen at a time. This way candidate will receive questions matching the level of the candidate. The final evaluation is done by the first procurement of your ability evaluation through a probabilistic model approach. The score range from 0 to 360.

There are two options to take the NMAT Exam:

  • Online Proctored Exam from Home-Online Proctored Exams are exams that are administered from the comfort of your own home using your computer's desktop. Proctoring software will monitor your computer's screen, as well as your webcam, video, and audio, during the exam. The data recorded by the programme is submitted to the authority for review once the exam is completed. Candidates can now take online proctored tests from the comfort of their own homes.
