IIM Bodh Gaya Placement & Packages 2022: Highest Packages

In recent years, IIM Bodh Gaya has improved its foothold in the corporate landscape, among B-Schools, in terms of placements. In its latest report, the institute has claimed a 100% placement record for its 2019-21 batch, with approximately 100+ offers being made by various companies.

IIMBG's excellent placement record, in a short span of time, is a result of a combination of factors. While the curriculum is designed to cater to the needs of the industry, the institute also focuses on developing soft skills and personality traits required for a successful career in management.

The report reveals that 100 students have been placed through the placement drive held on the campus. The average salary offered to the batch stood at approximately INR 9.92 lakhs per annum.

The placement cell of IIM Bodh Gaya takes care of the following activities:

The placement cell at IIM-Bodh Gaya works closely with the students and companies to ensure a seamless placement process. The cell helps students prepare for interviews and provides them feedback on their performance at the end of each round of interviews. In addition, it also assists companies by organizing campus visits, conducting aptitude tests/interviews, etc., thus making their recruitment process hassle-free.

The industries covered are IT, Finance, Insurance, Consulting, Marketing, and Management. The standard selection procedure for most companies is carried out in two stages. The first stage is for written tests in which the students have to appear for aptitude tests and group discussions. The second stage is a personal interview in which the student has to go through behavioural and technical rounds of the interview. 

The IIM Placements Report 2020-21 has been released. The report shows that the average salary offered during the placement season was Rs 9.92 LPA, as compared to Rs 9.57 LPA the previous year. The highest salary of Rs 17.3 LPA was offered this year, which is a 7% increase from last year.

The maximum number of students were offered jobs in the education and ed-tech sector (22.9%), followed by IT Analytics (13.5%).

The institute saw a rise in first-time recruiters and the covet roles offered to its students. The highest number of students were placed in the EdTech sector followed by IT Analytics and BFSI. The final placement drive witnessed participation from over 86 companies.

With an average salary package of INR.  9.92 LPA, IIM Bodh Gaya's students have been recruited by McKinsey & Co, NLMK Steel, Hettich India, IndiaMart, QuessCorp, Volvo Eicher, TVS Credit, SBI GI, Tata AIA and many more.
