CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2022

The National Testing Agency CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 is discussed here. Common Management Admission Test shall be conducted on the January 2022 for admissions of eligible candidates into PGDM and MBA courses offered at AICTE approved B-Schools across India. The candidates must fulfil the CMAT eligibility norms which NTA lays down to sit for the CMAT 2022. If an aspirant fails to fulfil one or more of the CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2022 norms, his/ her candidature shall stand cancelled or dismissed upon discovery of the same. Hence all candidates interested in taking CMAT 2022 must thoroughly go through the CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2021-22 to check whether or not they are eligible to take the exam. CMAT Nationality Criteria

All candidates must be a citizen of India.

CMAT Age Limit

There is no CMAT Age Limit restriction for taking the CMAT 2021-2022. Aspirants of any age group may apply for this Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) provided they meet all other CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2022.

CMAT Minimum Educational Qualification

The one and most important eligibility for the CMAT is educational qualification. Candidates can check the minimum CMAT Education Qualification requirements.

Note: All final year students whose final results shall be declared before the commencement of admission for the academic year 2022-2023 are also eligible to apply. If final year candidates are selected, they shall be permitted to join the programme provisionally. Only if he/she submits the mark sheet/ degree/ certificate within the stipulated time frame decided by the authorities shall the candidature and admission be confirmed. Also, all candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of minimum education in any discipline from recognised institutes or university.

Course-Wise CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2021-2022

Eligibility Details

MBA, PGDM, etc.

  • The minimum qualifying percentage in UG degree for General Category candidates is 50%.
  • A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university is a must for candidates applying for the exam.
  • The minimum qualifying percentage in UG degree for Reserved Category candidates is 45%.

Executive PGDM

  • Should be a graduate from any discipline.
  • The candidate must have an average work experience of five years (managerial/ supervisory).
  • A minimum of 50% score is required in the UG degree for the candidates belonging to the General category.
  • 45% of the score in the UG degree is necessary for the candidates from the Reserved category to register for the CMAT 2022

Post Graduate Certificate in Management (PGCM)

  • Aspiring candidates with a graduation degree and 50% marks (General Category) and 45% marks (Reserved Category) in UG degree or any bachelor's degree are required to register for the CMAT examination.

CMAT Reservation Criteria 2022

The CMAT reservation criteria is also the part of CMAT Eligibility Criteria. The Private institutes which are participating in CMAT have their own reservation policy. The government colleges will have a common reservation policy.
