Many of these questions exclusively check your vocabulary skills. So, apart from enhancing your reading, writing, and speaking skills, a sound grip on vocabulary helps you score better in examinations. 

 

 

Reading is one of the best ways to boost your vocabulary. As you read a piece of writing, you come across new words that you might not have come across before. So, we must always try to inculcate a habit of reading.

1. Word: Pursue (अनुसरण)

  • Meaning
    a. follow or chase (someone or something).
    b. seek to attain or accomplish (a goal) over a long period.
    c. continue or proceed along (a path or route).
    d. continue to investigate or explore (an idea or argument).

2. Word: Zealous (उत्साही)

  • Antonyms: apathetic, uninterested, unconcerned

5. Word: Ramshackle (जर्जर)

  • Meaning: (especially of a house or vehicle) in a state of severe disrepair.
