ACC Entry Exam Pattern - Section I: GMAT

The GMAT (General Mental Ability Test) section is designed to assess a candidate's intellectual ability. There are two types of questions in this paper: argument and data sufficiency.

There will be 150 objective-type questions, each worth two marks. The paper will be divided into three sections:

ACC Entry Exam Pattern - Section II: CGAT

  • This component's questions were designed to evaluate the candidate's General Awareness of his surroundings and its application to society. 
  • The curriculum is intended to include tests of current general situational awareness, mental ability, and military awareness. 
  • This will comprise of 150 two-mark objective-type questions.
  • These are the broader topics that are addressed.
    • Environmental awareness in general
    • Current events
    • National and international happenings
    • Military awareness

ACC Entry Exam Pattern - Section III: ICE

  • The questions in this component were designed to evaluate the candidate's understanding and knowledge of the English language, specifically the communicative skill. 
  • For Interactive Communicative English, there will be two sub-sections. 
  • Sub-section I will last one hour and will comprise of 120 objective-type questions worth one mark each. 
  • Sub-section II will consist of 90 descriptive-type questions for 180 marks over a two-hour period worth 2 marks each.

ACC Entry Exam Pattern - Section IV: ACT

There will only be one section that covers General Science, Mathematics, and Humanities. There will be a total of 150 OTQs (Objective Type Questions), each worth two marks. Topics to be covered in each paper, as well as the distribution of marks, will be as follows:

  • The ACC exam pattern consists of a four-paper written test. To be eligible for the interview, a candidate must pass all three papers. There are 150 objective questions on each paper.

    • A medical examination is part of the selection process. As a result, ensure that you are medically fit.
    • Make it a habit to read the newspaper every day.
    • Make a proper schedule and stick to it every day.
    • Examine the syllabus carefully and prepare accordingly.
    • Maintain consistency while remaining motivated to pass the exam.
  • +2 marks are awarded for every correct answer of Descriptive Questions (DQs) in the Interactive Communicative English (ICE) section. +1 marks are awarded for every correct answer of Objective Type Questions (OTQs) in the Interactive Communicative English (ICE) section.

  • +2 marks are awarded for every correct answer in GMAT, CGAT, and ACT sections.

  • Reasoning Ability (Verbal) comprises 75 questions, each worth 2 marks, whereas Non-Verbal Reasoning comprises 15 questions, each worth 2 marks.
