How can you celebrate World Forest Day?

Given below are some ways by which a person can celebrate International Forest Day every year.

  • Green business

The term green business means re-use and recycling of products. If every business should follow green measures of production and utilisation, then undoubtedly, the issues of Deforestation can come to a halt. Mainly, stress on recycling items and not using artificial things that are harming the environment. The effects of Deforestation on air quality can be reduced if you follow this method of making products.

  • By promoting sustainable choices

If you make some difference in the fight to save the forest, it is sure that it will not get wasted. Now the question arises, how can you do this? The answer is straightforward, consume less, eat sustainable food, try to use recycled products made of wood or paper, etc.

  • Join organisations

You can join various agencies such as conservation, rainforest, and NGOs protecting nature that come together and join hands with a common goal to save the forest.

  • Sensitisation and education campaigns

The act of Deforestation can be stopped through awareness, education, and sensitisation. They are a simple form of creating awareness but can be very productive in making the environment safe and pollution-free. Thus, if people continuously make efforts and make people aware of the environment, it becomes easy for you and the government to curb Deforestation.

  • Start community forestry

Community forestry means planting trees locally in schools, colleges, universities, etc. By this means, every surrounding area can be safe, and sustainability can be attained. It can be done on various occasions, like public holidays, festivals, etc.

If the cutting of trees continues at a fast pace, then the toxic industrial air will spread around the entire environment; thus, one day, the coming generation might suffer from many health-related issues. And this will be happening with the effects of Deforestation on air quality. International Forest Day is the perfect time to spread awareness among society to save trees.
