The U.S.A. is a republic that is headed by three tiers of government. The two main parties are the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. The presidential elections are constituted every four years and have national party organisations.

The federal government comprises three branches, which are judicial, legislative and executive; their powers rest with the U.S. Constitution in the President, the Congress and the Federal courts, respectively.

It is the highest court in the country, and it comprises 9 judges who are entitled to repeal laws if required.

The Constitutional System in the USA is slightly different from other countries, and so is their voting system. Federal elections are held every two years.
