As an aspirant for any exam, the candidate must know the exam pattern, exam syllabus (topic-wise syllabus) of any exam he/she is appearing for. CDS II 2021 Exam Pattern
The CDS II 2021 Exam Pattern is divided into two components, which are as follows:
- Written test
- SSB Interview
Candidates sitting for the Officer Training Academy will have to take English & General Knowledge. Candidates sitting for the Indian Military or Air Force Academy or Indian Naval Academy have to take English, general Knowledge & Mathematics.
CDS II 2021 Exam Pattern for Written Test
- The IMA, INA, and AFA written exams are divided into three sections: English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics.
- The OTA admissions test is divided into two sections: English and General Knowledge.
- The IMA, INA, and AFA exams are six hours long (each component is two hours long), while the OTA exam is four hours long (each section is two hours long).
- The test has a total score of 300 for IMA, INA, and AFA, and 200 for OTA. Only objective-type questions are asked in the Exam.
- The concepts in the CDS Elementary Mathematics syllabus are of a Class 10 standard.
- Papers for other subjects are of graduate-level quality.
