Smart Strategy for KVS TGT & PRT 2022 Exam

As all, you know Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India will soon release the notification for the upcoming KVS PRT, TGT Exam. After releasing the notification the exam is expected to be conducted within two months.  This is the crucial time to plan your strategy for the upcoming KVS teacher exam. With the help of this article, you can plan your strategy which will help you to ensure your success.

KVS TGT Teacher Exam Pattern

 KVS Pattern Exam: - The Written test will consist of one paper(pen and paper mode) for KVS TGT and the exam pattern of KVS TGT is given below.

KVS TGT Teacher Exam Pattern

Section-wise Strategy: -

1. General English: - English section is the Important section for the KVS exam but many students always face difficulty in attempting the English section. If you are weak or average in this section, then make a habit of practising English Questions on a regular basis.  Just plan your schedule to cover all the important topics.

  • Verb.
  • Tenses.
  • Subject-Verb Agreement.
  • Articles.
  • Comprehension.
  • Fill in the Blanks.
  • Adverb.
  • Error Correction.
  • Sentence Rearrangement.
  • Unseen Passages.
  • Vocabulary.
  • Antonyms/Synonyms.
  • Grammar.
  • Idioms & Phrases, etc.

How you can prepare for the English section – You need to plan a daily schedule to practice all the different topics of this section. Try to practice at least 2 hours a day and practice each topic according to the schedule plan.

2. General Hindi: - Hindi section is the most important section for the KVS exam Because most students know about this language so in this section you can score well. For good marks in this section make a habit of practising on a regular basis.  Just plan your schedule to cover all the important topics.

  • Sandhi/Samas.
  • Upsrag & Pratay
  • Ras/Chhand/Alankaar
  • Idioms and phrases.
  • Muhavare
  • Comprehension passage
  • Vocabulary.

How you can prepare for the Hindi section – You need to plan a daily schedule to practice all the different topics of this section. Try to practice at least 2 hours a day and practice each topic according to the schedule plan.

3. Current Affairs:- 

It is one of the easiest sections of the KVS Exam. All you need to cover Current affairs, Static news of the last 6 months to score maximum marks (30+) in this section, and make a habit of reading & revising the news on a regular basis. Just divide the topics & plan your schedule to cover all the important news.

  • Budget and Five Year Plans.
  • National & International.
  • Indian Geography.
  • Capitals & Currencies
  • International & National Organizations.

4. Reasoning Aptitude:- 

Reasoning Aptitude has always been the Moderate section in the KVS exam. Most of you may be comfortable in this section but not score well. If you are weak or average in this section, then make a habit of practising this section on a regular basis.  Just plan your schedule to cover all the important topics.

  • Blood Relation
  • Arithmetic Number Series/Letter and Symbol Series.
  • Figures/Verbal Classification.
  • Relationship concepts.
  • Arithmetical Reasoning.
  • Non-verbal series.
  • Analogies.
  • Visual Memory.
  • Similarities and Differences.
  • Coding and Decoding etc.
  • Logical Reasoning

How you can prepare for the Current affairs section – You need to plan a daily schedule to practice all the different topics of this section. Try to practice at least 2 hours a day and practice each topic according to the schedule plan.

5. Teaching Methodology: -  It is one of the easiest sections of the KVS Exam. All you need to do cover is Concepts, and theories to score maximum marks (30+) in this section, For good marks in this section make a habit of practising on a regular basis. Just plan your schedule to cover all the important topics.

Note: - KVS is an offline exam (pen and paper) that is conducted over 150 minutes. There is no negative marking but candidates should not attempt the questions in a hurry as they might lose out on marks this way.  There is a total of 5 sections in the exam and each question will get one mark. Try and solve the questions that you know for sure first, so that you increase your confidence and secure some marks easily. If you don’t know an answer, use the elimination method to eliminate the incorrect answers and you will be closer to finding the correct answer.
