“Exam postpone Hoga, Padhne ka kya fayda!
Abhi toh time hai aaram se syllabus cover ho jaega!
Aaj nhi kal se shuru karunga padhna, wese bhi lockdown hai pura saal chalega!”
Many of the aspirants are thinking the same as we are aware that several exams, including NDA 1-2020, CAPF(AC) notification, Airforce X & Y group have been postponed due to lockdown. It is obvious for many aspirants to feel less motivated and lazy. But believe me, lockdown will be over soon, and all the defence exams will be conducted after that. If you are not taking your exam preparation seriously, then, there are many aspirants preparing hard to take your place of becoming an officer.
So Gradians, it is the right time for you to shed all worries and laziness and get back to the study table.
Here are ten tips to motivate yourself during the lockdown.
1.Plan and Prioritise
Spend some time at the beginning of the day to figure out what you’ll be doing and the things that are a priority. It’s easy to run out of time or energy for work without a proper plan of action.
2. Make a Disciplined Routine
A disciplined routine is essential for every defence aspirant. Make sure your schedule includes regular exercise (approximately 45 minutes), take a short walk if possible, do some exercise or yoga at home, make some tea (stay hydrated! ). And use your timer: set a time for a break and a time for study.
3. Follow Study Plan
BYJU'S Exam Prep study plans are prepared especially for defence aspirants. You can set reminders on your phone or use a wall planner.

4. Video Lectures
Video lectures are akin to attending lectures in a classroom, albeit from the comfort of your home. You also have the option to choose from multiple topics and don't have to stick to a lesson plan
5. Join a Study group
You can start a group chat with other aspirants, to share tips and motivation, and encourage each other. You can do the practice of SSB interview online, or FaceTime your best friend as a reward for finishing a study task.

6. Go for Short Breaks
Sometimes, long study hours feel like a burden to students and demotivate them, leaving the rest of the study for the next day. If you feel like that, then take a short break(maximum 10-15 min), watch some motivational videos, and get back to studies.
7. Mock Test/Online Quiz
Assessing your progress is an important part of studying. While self-studying, students can take mock tests and quizzes available on BYJU'S Exam Prep’s platform to evaluate their knowledge in the subject/topic.

8. Disconnect All Technology and Detox
You’ve probably spent the last 8-10 hours on your computer. Stand up, stretch and take a deep breath.
Step away from your computer for at least 45 minutes. Spend some time with family, or prepare a cheeky snack in the kitchen, take a nice warm shower and relax.
You’ve earned it!
9. Clear Out Your Thoughts Before Bed Time
Before going to bed, Make a rough plan in your mind of 3–5 things you need to do tomorrow.
Clearing out your “mental RAM” will help get better sleep. Planning your next day is a great habit to get stuff done.
10. Take a Proper Sleep
Every aspirant needs at least 8–10 hrs of study a day and when you stress out your body that much it needs at least needs 6–7 hrs of sleep. Absence of sleep can affect your health and your studies.
“Discipline is the soul of an army. It makes small numbers formidable; procures success to the weak, and esteem to all.”
George Washington
There are only three things which are between you and those stars on your shoulders. Its
Discipline! Discipline! & Discipline!
