(1) Impassive
Meaning : not feeling or showing emotion

(2) Douse
Meaning : pour a liquid over; drench
Usage : He doused the card in petrol and set it on fire.
(3) Forebooding
Meaning : a feeling that something bad will happen; fearful apprehension
Usage : With a sense of foreboding she read the note.
(4) Plaintive
Meaning : sounding sad and mournful
Usage : I heard a plaintive cry coming from the woods.
(5) Hyperventilate
Meaning : breathe or cause to breathe at an abnormally rapid rate, so increasing the rate of loss of carbon dioxide
Usage : she started to hyperventilate under stress
