UPPCS Judicial Services(PCS J): Eligibility Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is soon going to release the notification of UP Judicial Services Exam 2021. The exam is conducted by UPPSC for recruitment in the post of Civil Judge in Uttar Pradesh. In this article, you will find the Eligibility criteria that is required for appearing in the PCS J exam.
UPPSC Civil Judge Eligibility
Age Limit
A candidate for direct recruitment to the service must have attained the age of 22 years and must not have attained the age more than 35 years. Age relaxations for several reserved categories have been provided in the table below:

Educational Qualification
According to the previous official notification(2018), the following educational qualifications are required of the candidates:
- A candidate must have a Bachelor degree in Law from a recognized university, OR,
- He must be enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocate Act 1961, a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland, or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland, with the right to practise in the Court or Courts subordinate to it.
- Candidates must also have a thorough understanding of the Hindi Language in Devnagari Script.
