UPTET Exam Date 2024: Application Start/Last Date, Admit Card, Result & Important Dates

Candidates who are going to appear in UPTET 2021 which will be held on January 23, 2022 can check the exam pattern. We have compiled the complete pattern for both Primary Teacher and Upper Primary Teacher. Please note that you can’t choose the same language for both language subject.

UP TET Primary Level (Paper-I)

UPTET Upper Primary Level (Paper-II)

To apply for the UPTET exam, you need to have a minimum age of 18 years while the maximum age limit is 35 years.

UP TET Educational Qualification

Primary Teacher (Class 1st-5th)

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR
• Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
• Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)* OR
• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR
• Graduation + B.Ed final year appearing & passed aspirants can apply

Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6th-8th)

• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 Years Diploma in Elementary Education OR
• Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE OR
• Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years B.El.Ed OR
• Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed
