REET Eligibility Criteria 2021

Get to know the detailed REET eligibility criteria 2021 as per the norms described by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER). It is mandatory for all candidates to fulfill the entire REET eligibility criteria in order to participate in the recruitment process. REET Age Limit Criteria 2021

As per the last notification, the minimum age criteria for REET 2020 is 18 years and there are no maximum age criteria. Candidates failing to fall in the REET age limit criteria will not be allowed to appear in the REET 2021 examination.

REET Educational Qualification: for Classes I-V: (Level 1)

  • Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: (Level 1)

    • Senior Secondary or equivalent to 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2nd-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
    • Senior Secondary or equivalent to 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
    • Senior Secondary or equivalent to 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2nd-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)* OR
    • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

    Note: According to NCTE, B.Ed candidates are not eligible for REET Level 1.

REET Educational Qualification: for Classes VI-VIII: (Level 2)

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education. OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education, in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR

  • Senior Secondary or it's equivalent to 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR

  • Senior Secondary or it's equivalent to 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Bachelor of Education (by whatever name known)

Note: According to NCTE, Commerce candidates can also apply for level 2 under the Social Studies section

  • There is no maximum age criteria for REET 2021 exam.

  • Candidates must have Senior Secondary or equivalent to 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2nd-year Diploma in Elementary Education in order to appear for REET Level 1 teacher exam.

  • A Diploma in the second year in graduate or elementary education or completed the final year of this course. Minimum 50% marks in Graduate and passed in the first year of B.Ed or appearing in the second year of B.Ed.
