SLAT Analysis 26th July 2020: Internet Based Remote Proctored Test (RPT)

SLAT Analysis & Review (26 July 2020): Symbiosis International School (SIU) conducted the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2020 successfully across the country. Today is the first day of SLAT 2020. The test was held in an Internet-Based Online Proctored mode from 9:30 am to 11:15 am. The level of overall paper of SLAT 2020 was Easy to Moderate. The online exam was monitored using artificial intelligence techniques and webcam technology.

Changes in the structure of the exam

The test was conducted in an internet-based online proctored mode.
The number of questions was reduced from 150 to 75.
Written Ability Test (WAT) was included in the exam.

Total number of questions is 75.
Total marks is 75.
Total no. of questions in each section is 15.
Written Ability Test (WAT) has been introduced in SLAT for the first time.
The duration of the MCQ test was 75 minutes and 30 minutes is assigned for WAT.

The section of WAT was evaluated only for those applicants who have been shortlisted for further admission process.
WAT includes subjective essay questions.

Marking Scheme

+1 mark is assigned to each correct answer.
Each question has only four responses.
No negative marking applicable for wrong answers.
