Salient Points – NVS TGT & PGT Exam Date

There are certain things that candidates must keep in mind regarding the NVS TGT & PGT exam dates:

1. NVS TGT & PGT exam dates for different stages do not have much difference between them. Hence candidates must prepare themselves well enough for every level of examination beforehand only. 
2. NVS releases the official notification at least two months before the exam is to be conducted. Candidates are advised to go through it carefully before applying for the exam.
3. Details entered by an applicant in the application form are supposed to be completely correct. In case of discrepancy, a candidate’s candidature can be cancelled. 
4. Candidates must have all the important documents required for the NVS TGT & PGT application form including mark sheets, certificates, photographs, signatures, etc. as mentioned in the notification.

NVS TGT & PGT Important Pointers

• NVS exam includes negative marking for every wrong answer marked i.e. 1/4th of marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• The NVS exam will be conducted in bilingual mode i.e., Hindi & English.
• The NVS exam will be conducted online mode.
• Candidates selected for the NVS exam can be posted anywhere in India.
• Selected candidates will initially be on probation for two years, which can be extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority.

NVS TGT Teacher Exam Reporting Time 2022:

NVS TGT & PGT will soon release the reporting time at which candidates need to report for both shifts - morning and evening. It is advised candidates should report at least 1 hour before the exam to avoid a late time rush. Reporting late at the exam centre tends to non-entry of the candidate in the examination centre.

NVS TGT, PGT & Principal Selection Process

The selection is based on the computer-based test and interview. 

• Based on the performance in the written examination and also keeping in view the number of vacancies, the candidates will be called for an interview.
• The final merit list of Principal, PGT, TGT & Miscellaneous Category teachers will be based on the performance of the candidates in written tests and interviews.
